Our Rules

Project rules and guide lines

  • Communication language is English, and if problems arise, Finnish can be used to solve the communication problem.
  • We will create a harmonious space for everyone to work.
  •  The team meetings and deadlines  are planned in advance so that everyone has time to organize and react to them.
  • Every team member must participate to every team meeting, coaching classes, and other work related gathering events or must inform before if he/she is not capable of joining.
  • Firstly, the team organizes regular face to face meetings; then the use of social media platform or other web based communication platform must be unanimously agreed between team members.
    • Whatsapp will be used for easy regular discussion
    • Google Drive is to be used to share files and as a working environment
    • Blog can be edited by all members of the team
  • Team sessions will be used efficiently
  • I share my ideas, and I give my opinions/what I think to my team members.
  • If I am confused or do not understand, I ask help from my team members.
  • Beyond the team, we help each others and are open to discussing about differences (in personalities/cultures/working methods)
  • I will always listen to my team members and do my best to understand their opinions and ideas:
    • When disagreeing with someone, I will always do it in a respectful manner (eg. instead of saying “you are wrong”, I will say “this idea may not entirely be accurate” and I always explain why).
    • When disagreeing, I do it with rationalization.
  • I create, share and respect.
  • Whenever we face problems we openly discuss the problem.

Re-alignment rules:
  1. If after open discussions about disobeying the above rules twice, and the person still fails to apply the rules will we start considering to leave the person out of this project
